Bathroom Access

My wife & I are both paraplegics. We booked our flight 4 months in advance & were unable to get a front seat for easy transfer. We traveled from Boston to NYC then a direct flight to Hawaii. The flight to Hawaii was a 12 hour flight without the ability to use a restroom. The stewardess said they were able to use the straight back chair to get us to the restroom, but that we had to get in & out of the restroom on our own. We both opted to dehydrate ourselves so that we didn’t use a restroom & luckily had no accidents. We both suffered urinary track infections soon after our trip. I think being dehydrated contributed to the UTI’s.
